How deep is the trench?
Does the cage we believe separate?
Does the safe house hound us to death?

I’m slapping words against walls, love and peace for all,
white horses from the sea to the sky, pooled forces
Angels and demons, dragons' drife, life needs free space,
lightening days of flight, jubilation, creation,
spaceship nights, magic lights in a cold-blooded world.
Picking centuries with old eyes: the power step
as well as the smile that sweeps and unites.
Separated, are we
as long as we’re looking through an old grid,
not permitting oneness, believing lost what is inherent,
admiring distant happiness, but mourning for the own.

Happiness. A sip, a bite, a look, a light. Hand and skin.
A moment that we share, just for the moment

This moment now we share
The moment we are flying from here to there
Looking at each other
Waiting, expecting much, nothing at all
Amuse ourselves, bind, banish, lose ourselves –
A century on us, thousands of years, dungeons and whips
Arenas, fight for life. What could happen to us?
Even if they bare and pillory us, I am not ashamed. We are not ashamed.
Who are you in me that your word can touch me?
What is this NOW?
A sea rocks you and me on the same wave, just for the moment.
And you go your way, and I’ll take mine.
Maybe my voice is still circling on you
Maybe your music is still with me
The sounds which we follow, leaving our home market place
Rocking in the wind of the cosmic night, galaxy turning around
Just my circling around you and your's around me,
Turntables, wide breath,
The globe’s turning us fast, cosmos lightening us.
We are suns, central suns, miracles, solar land.

This moment is a present, cosmic law.
Infinites makes the space between you and me look small.
Nothing frightening
Your steps in my meadows, your cows are grazing and mine are the sheep
Through my valley flows your river. Silent sea, a flood.
I'm the wall you're looking at.
You’re the river
I’m swimming back to the source.
