"Proust Effect" locates analog played glockenspiel, some percussion, and piano of acoustic instruments sounds and electric guitar and bass (interlude/bowed bass) of electric instruments sounds to become the axis of the melody that likes four piece rock band. This is because you and your friends can feel that can easily play it if you gather with a friend (even if you do not stack the sounds of the synthesizer) from my metaphor; youth = rock band. "Proust Effect" genre is New Wave which considers such a rock band sound, furthermore, feels Breakbeat! Medium rock ballad (but slightly different Breakbeat technique,,,)!
And, about sound of superimposed synthesizer; I think,,, that synthesizer is the musical instrument which is made using a technique of the forefront and is easy to reflect a sound of the time. For that reason, I took the sounds of the software synthesizer in 2010's, the hard synthesizer in 2000's, 90's, and 80's (for example, ensoniq TS-12 in 90's, YAMAHA SY 77 in 80's). And, I want person of the youth midst in 2016 and many people in the various generations who enjoyed "#24" to recall and feel their youth. In addition, I produce and superimpose the pad sound of the noise that continues sounding widely space strongly bass (bowed bass) from KORG Sigma. And, I make the dynamic range wide in mastering, because I want you to feel that widely space harder.
Furthermore, I thought that you will probably want to watch a story more when you want to listen to a musical piece repeatedly. So I have added 2 elements which make tiredness canceled to a musical piece.
First; This music sounds like the repetition of the cord which the whole are plain and simple. However, they change very finely.
Second; Sound is being changed by a programming (Pure Data and Csound, and so on) to make the first element more effective. In particular, it shows many changes from the part heading to the ending synthesizer solo.
I am glad if you could feel your "Proust Effect" of the youth from all these effects by this "#24" work.
