In Spin Cycle, this happens to two previously siloed genres -- to astonishing results. A genre-defying, innovative three-stage project rooted in authenticity: 1st Stage: Four of the hottest Canadian composers wrote four distinct works for the Afiara Quartet; 2nd Stage: Skratch Bastid brought his world-renowned scratch styling to transform the works into standalone remixes; 3rd Stage: the composers answered the remix by bringing the Afiara back into a full conversation and meeting of minds.
