The third Release by the Dub- Techno Lable „Tiefenrausch“ brings light to the unexplored depths of the Bodensee. The swiss producer „Idealist“ presents the „Expander EP“.
Right at the start the track „Present“ combines massiv drumsets and distant chords, creating a gloomy vision of the underwater world. Still dreaming, our glance keeps its progressive direction. With ranges of acid sounds and grooving chords, „Defective Unit“ on the b-side let‘s us resurface here and there perceiving the familiar tweeting sound of a Roland. With „ Tail of two“ the Idealist finaly sends us back, comforting and friendly leading the way.
One thing becomes obvious, the „Idealist“ is serious about his Business.

Auf dem dritten Release des Dub Techno Labels Tiefenrausch werden die unergründeten Tiefen des Bodensees erhellt. Der schweizer Produzent Idealist präsentiert die „Expander EP“. Gleich zu Begin der Reise treffen bei „Present“ gewaltige Drumsets auf weite Chords und malen düstere Visionen der Unterwasserwelt aus. Trotz aller Verträumtheit richtet sich der Blick unbeirrt nach Vorn. So taucht „Defective Unit“ auf der B-Seite mit Acidwaben und groovende Chords aus der Tiefe hervor und hier und da vernimmt man das wohlvertraute Zwitschern einer Roland. Mit „Tail Of Two“ geleitet uns der Idealist schlussendlich mit einer wohlfühlenden Offenheit zurück an die Oberfläche.
Eins wird klar, der Idealist meint es ernst!
