Set Me Afire

Behold the Lord standing at the door, knocking what's stopping you from unlocking? Luke warm, prideful Christian bad form, living like your torn, not reborn. Reliant on your works, instead dead cause you haven't been rebirthed. No Christ, no life, no girth, us last, Christ first, only way the Church works.

Set me afire, set me ablaze, living for Christ every day.

When I think I'm all that that's whack, I'm not. Only reason I'm living God given life I've been bought by Christ blood so though my sins were as scarlet I'm white as snow. Oh no, am I such a fool? Trying to follow the law as my salvation tool. Don't work when I'm always breaking the rules. Nonsense, I've been saved by grace through faith, Christ blood recompense.

Set me afire, set me ablaze, living for Christ every day.

I was once blind but now I see, eye salve received, now I believe that it's Christ I need. Anything good I do is Christ in me. Yet this leaven got me puffed up, only reason I'm living is cause Christ took that cup. So how can I boast? All glory to God with His heavenly hosts. Without Christ I'm like bread in the morning - toast.

Set me afire, set me ablaze, living for Christ everyday.

Thank you for these white robes, I know it's all cause you've atoned for all the times I've waged war against you heavenly throne yet you've shown grace and mercy to this man once out of place and thirst. You've embraced and heard me even though I'm so unworthy. On the cross you hung so that you could call me your son even after the disaster of all I've done.
